La neurotecnología está transformando el modo en que interactuamos con el mundo: leer pensamientos, medir atención o detectar emociones ya es posible. José Manuel Muñoz alerta sobre los beneficios y los riesgos de estas tecnologías y aboga por una regulación ética urgente. Si el cerebro es el último espacio de libertad, ¿estamos a tiempo de protegerlo? Investigador, conferenciante y consultor experto en las implicaciones éticas, legales y sociales de la neurotecnología. Actualmente trabaja en el Centro de Neurotecnología y Derecho (Reino Unido), donde codirige el capítulo iberoamericano, y en el Centro Internacional de Neurociencia y Ética (España). Es también miembro directivo de la Sociedad Internacional de Neuroética y jefe para Iberoamérica de la consultora de neurotecnología Cerebralink. Ha desarrollado su trayectoria investigadora en instituciones como Harvard, Berkeley y la Universidad de Navarra. Es doctor en Filosofía de la Ciencia y licenciado en Biología. Autor de más de 80 publicaciones en medios de referencia como Nature, Science o Scientific American, también ha participado como ponente o consultor en organismos internacionales y colabora habitualmente con medios como El País, El Mundo, Cadena SER o Cuatro.
