- 7:03The Dust in the Vinyl | Avinash Prasad | TEDxOOBSchoolAvinash Prasad is a music enthusiast who views rhythm not just as a sound, but as a shared human experience. For him, music isn’t background noise, it’s a language of emotion, imperfection, and authenticity. His curiosity lies in the unfiltered details of a song: the accidental pauses, the raw breaths, the subtle imperfections that often carry the most meaning. In his TEDx Talk, The Dust in the Vinyl, Avinash explores how the flawed, unpolished moments in music, often considered "mistakes," are in fact what make it most human. Drawing from personal reflection and musical analysis, he challenges the modern obsession with polish and perfection. Just as vinyl’s dust adds texture and warmth, our imperfections add depth to our stories. His talk is a reminder that beauty often lies not in flawless execution, but in the raw, unrehearsed fragments that make us real. ; Avinash Prasad, a student of GEMS Our Own English High School, Sharjah–Boys, is a music enthusiast who views rhythm not just as a sound, but as a shared human experience.
